Introduction
The VMC1160 is a large vertical machining center in the standard milling range. Consider it when your milling setup requires a larger size class than the VMC650 or VMC855.
Machine selection should account for the complete clamped assembly, including fixture weight and tool access at the extremes of travel. Distinguish the space needed to hold a part from the travel needed to cut it.
